Legacy Hospice offers four Levels of Care:
  • Routine Care:   Care provided in the patient's home.
  • Continuous Care:   Care provided at the patient's bedside during brief periods of crisis for pain control and acute symptom management.
  • Respite Care:   Allows for the patient to be placed in an inpatient setting for up to five days to allow families relief and prevent caregiver burnout.   Legacy Hospice professionals will continue to visit and provide ongoing care and support during this period.
  • Inpatient Hospice Care: Twenty-four hour care for symptom management or during one's final days.

We also provide care to Nursing Home residents with terminal illnesses.   Legacy Hospice staff supplements the care provided by the Nursing Home staff.
The Medicare Hospice Benefit is one of the most underutilized Medicare benefits.   Hospice is covered fully by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans.

Legacy Hospice Skilled Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round.   We are a mere telephone call away irrelevant of the time of day.
